Vision Statement: The vision of the South Kitsap School District Libraries is to empower students to learn 21st-century skills incorporating reading, technology, collaboration, communication, creativity, critical thinking, and citizenship.

Mission Statement: The mission of the South Kitsap School District Libraries is to provide quality learning experiences designed to ensure that students are effective users and producers of ideas and information.  The libraries will support the curriculum by collaborating with teachers to develop a collection that is representative of the community. The libraries extend and enhance the classroom experience: a place where students, teachers, and librarians can explore, learn, create, and collaborate. Librarians foster a love of life-long reading and learning in addition to modeling and utilizing current technologies.
